Actually, I got caught up in traffic around Harrisburg on my way home. Detoured a bit then found my way back to the interstate.
I found another friend to talk to...Cindy and Emily kept me smiling. :B
We'll catch up later today.
Off to take Jake to the doggy spa for grooming today. :C

Morning all! Sounds like many are enjoying some fun times camping this weekend...I'm jealous! :W
I'm now recovered from a party we had here Friday night for Rachel and fifteen of her friends from school. She called it a "Camp Rock Premier Party". (For those of you who do not watch the Disney channel, it's a new movie starring The Jonas Brothers...the latest heartthrobs for girls.)
OK, so picture Bill and I watching as 15 girls Rachel's age are singing, dancing and carrying on for six hours. They had a blast swimming, playing games, eating pizza and anything else they could find and then watching the movie from 8-10pm. Then they all went home. :B It was so much fun to sit back and watch them all have such a great time. Things like this will keep us feeling young for sure!

Ris, don't shed too many tears tonight...I've already been there/done that with Adam's college graduation last year. I feel your pain and your pride. Kristy is a daughter to be proud of, that's for sure.

All these graduations are making me feel old! :E
Bill & Rachel are off to a morning at the movies...local theater shows AM movies for free during the summer. Today they are seeing "Alvin & the Chipmunks" and then having Dad & daughter time.
He officially starts the new job tomorrow, so this is a special day for them to spend together.
I'm catching up on laundry and going food shopping...think he got the better gig. :B

Thank goodness for the motorhome! Had some wicked storms here last night and lost power around 7:30pm. So, we fired up the generator and camped overnight in the driveway. :C Woke up this morning and power is back on...lots of people are still waiting and there is also a lot of tree damage.

Believe me Larry, we have felt the love from all of you this past year. :B
Leaving Buffalo this morning after mass...spent the weekend here visiting friends. Saw Niagara Falls from the US side Friday night and from the Canadian side last night. Terrific weather, in the 80's during the day and around 70 at night.
Heading home to the heat and the pool...water temp was 78 before we left on Friday, so I expect it will be at least 85 by the time we get home. Rachel finished school so we'll be having fun daily!!:C

Thank you everyone for your kind words and well wishes. It's been a tough year, but it's looking better now. It didn't quite get to the point where we had to sell the MH, but it crossed our minds, believe me.
Jimbo, congrats on the 1 year anniversary of the new kidney. Ah, I remember the halls of Cornell so well...:W
Rachel finishes school on Friday then we're off to Buffalo to visit friends for the weekend.

Great news...Bill is gainfully employed again! Still in sales, different type. Great benefits and such, so we are pleased.
Had to cancel many trips until later this year, but at least we can go.

Welcome to Class A camping! As many have already stated, we used a non-skid shelf liner in the cabinet and also the circular non-skid inserts to stack bowls, mugs, etc.
We also found that the Corelle line of dinnerware is lightweight, looks nice and doesn't break easily. Also, for various beverages and glassware, we bought acrylic stemware and installed a rack in an overhead cabinet where we hang the specialty stuff for wine and margaritas. :B We also use the plastic baskets to store other beverageware and serving items.
You don't need to spend a fortune "furnishing" you new home on wheels. This is a great time of year to purchase many items that are available in the patio/outdoor living areas of many stores as most of it is acrylic and unbreakable. Have fun!

We are so thrilled to hear that Patsy and Mark are getting such great care and wish them both a quick journey to good health once again. We have a friend who trained as an orthopedic surgeon at UAB in Birmingham and the facility is top notch.
